World Metaverse Summit and Awards 2023: Pioneering Inclusive Engagement and Collaboration Globally
Dubai, UAE – [7.12.2023]: The World Metaverse Council (WMC) proudly hosted the groundbreaking World Metaverse Summit and Awards on December 6 2023, at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel in Dubai UAE. This pivotal four-day event marked a significant milestone in the convergence of technology, society, and sustainability. With the collaboration of national and international thought leaders, government officials, and innovators, the summit showcased the latest advancements in AR/VR, blockchain, and Metaverse technologies. It served as a beacon for knowledge transfer, fostering discussions and exhibitions aimed at building sustainable futures through the power of the Metaverse.
The event coincided with the COP28 Climate Change Conference, reflecting WMC’s commitment to inclusive engagement and the use of digital platforms for global collaboration on pressing environmental issues. Notably, the summit was streamed into MetaCOP28, the Metaverse counterpart to COP28, highlighting a new era of inclusive engagement and collaboration.

- The unveiling of innovative Metaverse applications across diverse sectors, including consumer goods,
finance, healthcare, and education. - Insightful discussions on the impact of Metaverse and Web 4.0 on the future of work, education, and
entertainment. - The Dubai Metaverse Strategy’s aim to foster economic growth, with plans to support over 40,000 virtual
jobs and become a top global Metaverse economy by 2030. - The European Commission’s strategy on Web 4.0, ensuring a fair and inclusive digital environment for
the next technological era.
The World Metaverse Summit and Awards not only provided a platform for showcasing technological breakthroughs but also offered attendees unprecedented access to network with industry pioneers and decision-makers.
